Newman
That tornado watch has high risk and 70% probs of at least 2 or more tornadoes within the watch box. Don't see that often.
jwilson
Ended up driving in last night. Rain had mostly dissipated. This morning we're presently on the dry side or very eastern edge of the precip which should soften flooding locally, though it looks bad just to my west. Hurricane Agnes
Currently up to 1.21" rain so far this morning having gone through a temporary dry slot as that tornadic complex moved to my west on a NW heading. It now seems to have been firing to my NE. Current temp 71 with light rain. TS Isaias is moving at 33 mph like a thunderstorm! That jet streak that it is riding means some business. Lady Di
I think the sun will be out by lunch time! Literally no wind here, just rain. Models had it worse than I think it's going to be, however, I don't mind. Better safe than sorry.

Hurricane Agnes
Looks like the axis of heavy rain is way further west than progged so far. Am thinking the strongest winds must be closest to it center of circulation. Sussex is reporting TS-level winds of 44 mph sustained with gusts to 51 mph. KamuSnow
Got up a little late due to being up till 2 am storm watching...my first reaction around 8 am was "where's the beef?". Was expecting more winds, but be careful what you wish for, looks like we're not done yet, although things are a couple of hours ahead of schedule as far as ending time. 2.35" here so far, occasional heavy showers and 72F.
Newman
Heavy rain beginning to spread into the area. Tornadoes are going to be LIKELY across Jersey and maybe as far west as Philly. That tail across the ocean is fierce. Out this way, I'm dead smack in the middle of the high risk for excessive rainfall
ChescoWx
1.36" so far in East Nantmeal....heaviest rain so far has remained to my east...0.56" in last hour. The numbers I will report today are from the Vantage Pro which normally under reports rain. I will update tomorrow when I am back in Chesco and check the manual gauge. I am riding this out down in Sea Isle....winds are howling....unfortunately my vantage vue is having battery problems so hoping we get enough light to get it back on line to measure some of these gusts!
