You may have sleep apnea. That’s one of the big symptoms. If you snore, you prob have it

That is a possibility. And it is why it's best to consult with a doctor before beginning a self medicating plan. There are sleep clinics in CT. Let the specialist figure out what is going on and let them come up with a treatment plan.

I try to go to bed like 8-9 but I'm a horrific sleeper. Wake up numerous times throughout the night and I always feel terribly tired when I wake up...hardly ever feel refreshed. It's the most annoying thing ever. Early afternoon comes and I'm dead.

Not sure if you have sinus/snoring problems. But if that’s the culprit, train yourself to breathe through your nose. You will sleep MUCH better I can assure you...No drugs needed, just discipline through the day...

Jesus , addicted to Motrin? Did you just make it up?

It has an antihistamine which works for most but not everyone.  I personally don’t use it but my wife does after having her doctor ok it.  Sleep medicine should be consulted for issues that Paul has.

Thanks for the input all. Actually I didn't even think about a sleep therapist. Going to find a really good primary care doctor and just get myself towards being healthier and feeling better.

Anyways sorry for completely derailing but let's hope Sunday pan out...severe or not could actually see showers and t'storms be more widespread

This^^^  My grandfather took a single motrin everyday for years and years and it caused an ulcer in his stomach. Ended up almost killing him.

There's always tylenol PM.  The hysteria of Great Snow on any subject is unreal. Dude is a walking paranoia machine.

Try some marijuana. They have specific strains that will put you right to sleep.  I know tons of people that have gotten off all the synthetic sleep aids and use marijuana now. You're in Maine it's legal there.
