Almost midnight, already nodding off... get awoken by the sound of something hitting the trash can and eventually opening it on the back porch.  The dog goes absolutely ape-shit with the wide screen door being the only thing between it and the house.  I got there just as the bear scampered off the deck, fled into the night.

Paws were soaked like it just crossed the river.

No--not flippers.  We got this one, and never had a huge attraction to it.  We won't be back in the sticks of western  Mass but certainly less urban than Worcester.  I'm leaning Princeton.  My wife and daughter are thinking Southborough.  We'll see.

Regardless, my plan is to get up to Pit2 as my permanent place ASAP.  Probably not until my daughter goes to college (two more years).

I don’t blame you one bit. That’s a rough city . Lots of nice places up and in north of there in the area you mentioned. Until then, enjoy the drought. It’s all we’ve got.

“Already” nodding off at midnight? I mean that’s already about half a normal persons night of sleep.

Hate to say that it’s probably not going to look that way.

It’s more likely what comes down is a leftover mid-level weakness similar to what we just went through where we had heat lobing over the top across southern Canada and weakness to the S evolving thru the mid Atlantic into the Tennessee Valley.

That's delta change

Lol, 10ish for me. Up at 5 like clockwork. Great to see cocadoodledewless back in the picture

I try to go to bed like 8-9 but I'm a horrific sleeper. Wake up numerous times throughout the night and I always feel terribly tired when I wake up...hardly ever feel refreshed. It's the most annoying thing ever. Early afternoon comes and I'm dead.

is that addictive or have bad side effects?

Most doctors would not recommend using Motrim PM as a sleep aid if you are not experiencing pain.  As with many drugs a "addiction" can develop. Someone can develop a "need" for it....in other words feeling a need for it in order to sleep. And a tolerance to the drug can build over time.  Speak to your primary care doctor. Another thing for you to consider is consulting with a sleep specialist .

Do you drink caffeinated beverages?

I don't really. I hardly drink soda anymore and actually since I've been working from home I've cut back on coffee too. I used to have one a day (like 6 AM) but that would be it. I used to have issues falling asleep but now that I wake up super early I tend to fall asleep pretty quick but I just wake up every few hours. I would estimate I maybe get like 4 hours of sleep per night in total.

I don't mind taking something that isn't going to led to big side effects...It probably wouldn't be something I take every night either. I want to steer away from actual sleep pills though b/c I've heard nothing but horrific things from them. My grandmother was prescribed some and she used to have vivid and horrific nightmares each night...legit thinking they were real and it would take quite some time to calm down

You may have sleep apnea. That’s one of the big symptoms. If you snore, you prob have it
