powderfreak
High of 93F at MVL, wow. The second time this year and in the decade I’ve lived here I’ve never seen it go above 92F, and we’ve had a summer or two without even hitting 90F. Now down to 70/64, a pleasant evening. Only got town to 67* here, but I was fine with the ceiling fan going. I was up at Pit2 yesterday doing yardword. Man what a furnace. I wish I was doing that today--nice stretch of upper 70's - 80* coming up there. COC
tamarack
90/60 yesterday, 87, 88 the two previous. For my location that's a heat wave. Maine rivers from the Saco to the St. John are setting new low flow records for the date. It's hard on the garden but better now than August/September when the water table usually hits seasonal lows.
