It was impressive how heavy the rain was in those today.  Just torrential huge rain drops.  Was very happy to see almost a half inch in the gauge when I got home.  Ground sucked that up real fast.

Could use that here. Real dry. I don't think we see anything until Wed.

I was up at Pit2 yesterday doing yardword.  Man what a furnace.  I wish I was doing that today--nice stretch of upper 70's - 80* coming up there.  COC

90/60 yesterday, 87, 88 the two previous.  For my location that's a heat wave.  Maine rivers from the Saco to the St. John are setting new low flow records for the date.  It's hard on the garden but better now than August/September when the water table usually hits seasonal lows.
