The one big thing I notice with the low dews is that there’s still a substantial comfort difference between sun and shade. The shade feels 15F cooler and almost nice. Then in full sun you feel the torch. When it’s humid it seems not to matter.

When I was in Vegas a few years back it was like 100/40 constantly and it felt good. Yes it was hot but it doesn’t suffocate you like 85/70 can. tamarack
P&C forecast tomorrow for CAR is 97, which would be their hottest on record. Same P&C forecast, same story for Fort Kent. Dry spell is affecting non-irrigated crops but it likely will be a while before wells and reservoirs have serious issues.
CoastalWx
Now this is summer. Perfect temps. Upper 80s and decent dews. Doesn’t have to be 95.

wxeyeNH
95F Roberval Quebec north of Quebec City. Looking at the satellite visible big fire started this afternoon up there. Even pyrocumulous cloud going up. Don't see that too often in S/C Quebec.

You can do both pool and non-water outdoor activities in that. 85/68 is useless if you aren’t at the beach or pool.

Certainly wouldn’t want this all summer though. I’m also a big fan of the drastic changes that seem to happen up here...from a weekend of highs in the 50s with folks lighting wood stoves, to going on a run of 86-93 style heat right after that. At least it’s been real dry with great sleeping weather and 90 doesn’t feel that bad when relative humidity is under 30%.
powderfreak
BTV has been hanging at 25% or lower RH the past few hours. 91/47 for 22% would qualify as a dry heat afternoon.

CoastalWx
All I know is that I’m hating the wind and cold more and liking this more. Aging Scooter? I don’t mind it if we have 2’ of snow on the ground, but it’s depressing when it’s 10F and bare ground. Snow will always be a love no matter what.
