The 6-week seesaw continues from anomalous cold to hot to cold to hot.  Now another cold shot pushing climo a bit.

If it ends up 3rd or 4th coldest June 13th since 1880s in BTV, that’s note-worthy.

Short Term...Saturday is going to be a chilly day. Just how chilly you ask? Well, not record setting but it could be the 3rd of 4th coolest June 13th on record. A strong upper level trough will situate over the North Country on Saturday with 850 mb temperatures dropping below zero over much of the region during the morning and early afternoon hours. In addition to this colder air, clouds will be entrenched across the region with little sunshine expected throughout the day. Highs will struggle to climb into the mid 50s to near 60 degrees with summits seeing highs in the low to upper 30s. If you do plan to hike, make sure to have a warm layer as many people don`t expect temperatures in the 30s at summit level in June.

Thought about hiking then decided I didn't want to drive much.  With minimal winds, I'll be just fine staying East.

Saturday night looking crisp... fairly widespread upper 30s and lower 40s.

This whole page reads like some sort of WWII code read over the radio to agents behind Nazi lines.

Couple of boring days coming with 70’s by day and 45-55 nights and then right back to regularly scheduled programming theme of this summer

Temperatures trending above normal with muggy air
returning mid to late in the week.

After that looks like we might turn cooler again.. hoping the whole summer can be like this.. we take

Actually nothing really shows that. It won’t be HHH everyday but you’d best be prepared for a very long and hot summer . Nationally too. This is going to be a roaster . All summer guidance is furnaced

Some experts have big ridge over the Southwest with troughiness over the East for July. We’ll see but this may not be your type of summer.

Huh? Guidance shows large +PNA and troughiness in the east late June into July.

There's no evidence of any prolonged hot spell.

The end of June into early July has been signaled for weeks to be very warm to hot in the East. I guess we”ll see. It seems like in winter you look for warmth and in summer you look for cold based on your posts. Interesting anyway
