Chrisrotary12
Would be cool if we could score a MCS or two with the pattern that looks to set up. Edit: nevermind. Looks like the dew point boundary stays well to our south.
weathafella
My forecast is a torrid June after the first week. I expect week of 6/1 to be -3F departure, week of 6/8 should be +1, week of 6/15 +4, week of 6/22 normal, week of 6/29 +8 (only 3 days). Monthly temperatures: around +3 Monthly rain: 70% of normal.

powderfreak
June is going to start with the highs not reaching our minimum temps from the past few days, ha. Nothing but mid-50s to mid-60s for high temps Sunday through Thursday. Whiplash from snow to record heat to late April climo.

One run took it E of FL and north ..off SE ..but that was 300 hrs out. I will be going to chase a hurricane again this year if the opp allows. I showed up in FL last year...the cane didn't.

I'm not exactly stoked on that look, but looping out the model runs towards mid-June has that over-the-top look again that we just saw. There's heat there in SNE end of the first week but then it seems to break but build again over the top. Maybe this is the summer Montreal bakes. EPS has that look though as there's a persistent weakness east of New England... can envision a scenario where if those lower heights are stable off the New England coast, that pieces of the midwest and Great Lakes ridge fold over top up into Ontario and Quebec.
