There are some crazy ratios coming in this morning for this time of year...

Danville, VT 0.37" for 5.5" snow

Ryegate, VT 0.29" for 4.2" snow

Greensboro, VT 0.21" for 3.5" snow

Landgrove, VT 0.16" for 3.0" of snow

East Calais, VT 0.20 for 3.0" snow

Who would've thought places would be ripping 15:1 ratios on May 9th.

Whoa,  about 15 miles southeast of here in West Arlington VT reported almost 9".  That's not some weenie elevation spot near Mitch,  maybe like 300-500ft and they are always near the bottom of snow totals in SVT--impressive.

Most have been some type of nice banding at some point over night.

I saw 8.0" inches in Granville, NY on 0.68" water.

Was there some weird stuff going on last night?

This stands out like a sore thumb but it's got 8.0" snow depth.  At first I thought they meant 0.8" but the precip is nuts.
