It’s got the classic residual upslope cloud even in that photo... the low topped thing hugging the hilltops, I bet that’s producing flakes.  That has the classic mesoscale cloud look formed low level in response to the terrain.

Yeah the terrain there looks ideal...it's got that "crescent" shape to funnel the air right in and up.....

I think tips diatribe was more about the fact that it is a closed Facebook group. it was a very strange post.

Lol... I mean like "3000"  ?   That's a commune -

I went with a coating to 2-3" on the hills around Newfound.  That was before the 12Z GFS which bumps up qpf a bit.  More important my VP2 stopped communicating with the data tracker so my weather station is offline.  I can't figure it out.  Rebooted unplugged and replugged USB.  Arrgghh.  I'm so untechy~

replace the lithium battery

Looks like a 2 season kind of place.  Winter, some summer, followed by winter, with a few dead leaves scattered in at the beginning again.

Summer, Second week of July to the end of the second week of Aug.

Feeling pretty decently about waking up to white tomorrow, even if just 1-2”.

2-M temps are pretty cold, I think we can get it done with light rates.

Just your run of the mill light snow event in mid-May.

Just enough cool air?
