BuffaloWeather
The average high on Sat May 9th is 65 degs for Buffalo. We may not make it out of the 30s. That's incredible cold. Sep 30th the average high is 65.

Didn't "feel" like that good of a winter for me. That includes 16 inches in April, so true winter was under 80 inches.

crossbowftw3
At my elevation not counting for more than 2", considering....but holy cow, never did I expect to be facing snow this late. I thought the snow from the 19th last month was absurd.

Maybe you catch a break, maybe not but at least you're in the game.

I think north of me and closer to BGM is likely where you move past in air and into accumulations. Razor thin line between accumulations and nothing. WNash
The 10:1 maps seem like a stretch to me. Is there enough depth of cold to support that? If there is accumulating snow at all, shouldn't we be thinking more like 6:1 or 8:1 ratios? Not complaining, it's still pretty cool to see this in May (though I have a new Mantis tiller and I want to actually use it before June).

DeltaT13
If its going to be unseasonably cold we need to get some snow and set some records. A storm missing too far South is just salt in the wound after a whole season of cutters.

TugHillMatt
I know the odds of it actually hitting DC are extremely low...however, it would be hilariously ridiculous if they get more snow in May than they did over the past 6 months combined.
