Mid-70s to low-60s after sunset. Love that it’s 8:30pm and still light enough to walk the dog or go for a run if you wanted to. Can start a hike at 6pm and get it in before dark too. Awesome. We went from back-to-back snow events to consistent 75-80F in like 7-10 days, flipped the switch hard. Maxed out at 77F today and next 3 days are highs 78-82F. Oddly enough those are normal summer month max temps, just without the dews.

Just great for every day life. This is nicely stated, and that’s the reality of the situation. It seems that most people appreciate the added comfort of some humidity when it comes to water sports, but few people are going to fanatically prioritize having excessively high dew points to deal with sticky discomfort for the remaining 99% of life just for that minor perk. When the HHH weather comes, that’s Mother Nature telling you it’s a good time to swim. As folks have mentioned, it’s those overnight lows that make or break it though, and if you live in an area that doesn’t cool down at night, you’re going to pay the price. Yeah the “install” thing is sort of thrown around as a gag, but people don’t typically put those things in their windows unless they have to… in order to get the temperature and humidity back to the levels they actually want. That’s a good point so even the one or two who pimp HHH but constantly bring up installs don’t actually want HHH...otherwise they wouldn’t install units in every window of their home in the first place. mreaves
One thing I’ve come to appreciate about working at home the last couple of days is having the windows open. My office is typical, sealed windows, HVAC system. It’s nice working with the windows open and smell of fresh cut grass wafting through. Will probably suck with no central AC when the HHH arrives.

Damage In Tolland
Saturday ranges from a couple showers to a washout to totally dry in SNE. Euro looks ridiculous. Probably have to allow for a few spotty showers. Then nice and warm inland rest of weekend . And then what a furnace next week. 90 and dews

Might be closer for PVD since their negative departures are less in value. But Saturday and Sunday will have onshore flow and it’s not until mid week where it really warms.

weathafella
You guys installing every year should really think about central ac. At the very least, if you ever plan on selling your house not having it is a negative. Having sunny days is helpful this week!

Canadian is totally dry , FV3 showers and NAM had most of the rain north of Pike. Sunday and Monday are warm and sunny away from water Scooter has a rule on warm season waves where the baroclinic zone is different than winter and always warns to be careful on northern side on big precip amounts. Something like that
