Ha, for the record I am not going up there as Uphill Travel is currently closed (though not enforced) and they know that.  There are still some Mtn Ops folks out and about and we also have some spies in the area.  I am happy that after over a decade reporting snow on the mountain they regard anything with my stamp of approval as accurate.  I've built up that trust.

Anyway, it looked pretty damn caked on the hill this afternoon.

Beautiful day to go for a weenie drive.

The views of the Spine and the Worcester Range from 89 were spectacular today.  I wish I could have taken a picture

Record cold in #SNE tonight? Maybe! Boston: 38 in 1882 - forecast low 38. Providence: 36 in 1962 - forecast low 36. Hartford: 32 in 2010 - forecast low 34. Worcester: 31 in 1928 - forecast low 32

CON record is 27F from 2005. The coldest temps ever from this point on is 24F in 5/25/1956 and 5/27/1969. For tonight's min, the 18z MAV is 25F and the 12z MET is 27F. So if they go calm it'll be close to a record.

MAV has 17F at SLK. Gah.

Yeah, so it is snowing lightly here.  39f and windy.

I am kind of hoping the NYS squalls here because if it going to be like this it may as well be crazy.  I think it may squeek by to my south however.

...Do we know how many days over the past 8 weeks or so have had significant breezes or wind?  It seems like it has been windy forever .

Yes, forever.  Enough of the f.ucking wind.

Thanks in advance.

Just talked about this as i have tried to go out fishing since April 1st on the lakes, This has been a very windy spring, More so then i think is usual.

Last year was pretty amazing for levels, could drive the boat just about anywhere without concern. Water was as high as the horseshoe damns at Gate 31 and 43.

Yes.  This was the spillway last April... Was quite a reversal from the previous summer (2018) when levels were at their lowest since 1966.

30.9 with a frost on May fooking 13th. It’s finally over

Boston has unofficially slipped to 37° (thus far) setting a presumptive new record low temperature for the date...the old one was 38° from 1882

From Dave Epstein.

The cooler than average weather has kept things blooming for a much longer time this spring. Typically if we had an 80 degree day by now many of these things would be gone.

I thought it was my imagination. Learn something new everyday.
