Can’t walk 5 mins on the dirt roads without having half a dozen of the things buzzing around your head and trying to bite you through your shirt. They’re pretty prevalent where we are, especially the deer flies. We’re in a wooded neighborhood with wetlands, a stream, and close to a pond. No mosquitos here, no see ums got toasted by the hard freeze after the emerged it seems. Couple of yellow jackets but it's been nice day and night.
