Torch Tiger
basically low-end TS conditions. funny because if we had full leaf out and it were summer, it'd be meh despite probably more damage

wxmanmitch
Wind has been quite underwhelming here so far. Probably not above 25-30 MPH gusts. 1.26" through the tipper though with more coming...may finish around 2". I've had bigger winds from run of the mill lows this past winter than from this one, but we'll see how I do with the backside westerly winds later. You get 90 knots just off the deck there later. We'll see how much mixes down.

Mainly small branches and debris tossed around with the lights flickering a couple of times. Rainfall has been copious. Same here, highest wind gusts were around 11am. Pretty meh here otherwise. Power washing combination of wind gusts and heavy rain.

It’s tough to get a near instantaneous mechanical sensor since you need to get a specific number of revolutions per given time to determine a speed. There’s just not enough rev samples if you try to cut it down to under a second. Now they could be using a 3rd party ultrasonic sensor that would have instantaneous capability, but my assumption was that they had the cups. Here’s Davis’ speed equation calculation... SouthCoastMA
Winds starting to ramp up here..but don't think I've seen anything over 50mph yet. I also don't want to.. I repaired 3 panels of my stockade fence from the wind storm in February..and seeing what happened today to Ginx's fence has me on edge.
