No reports of damages yet in our area. Rumors there was a touchdown but I'll wait until I see ground reports. Our house is 4 years old and built solid. The wind was howling. Hopefully we have no loss if life in our area. I'm hoping no damage at our house. We have underground utilities and lost power for 20 minutes. Lost it a 2nd time for 10 minutes. Everyone stay safe. I cracked the closet door 1 time and you could literally feel pressure. Im guessing that was just from the main winds from the storm being so strong. Just hope we have no damage Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk Good to hear you're safe. Debris on radar says there was 100% a touchdown; question now is the exact path. The debris sig went directly over Ooltewah proper.

magpiemaniac
My brother and his wife live in East Brainerd. No power of course. No mobile or landline service for half an hour. I was holding my breath waiting to hear back. Thank God they’re okay.

Stovepipe
Can you imagine having to deal with damage, injury, or loved ones dying from a tornado while everything else is going on? I'm so sorry for anyone affected. 5 1

Uncle Nasty
Only video I've seen so far. Someone in Chattanooga reporting via phone from Shallowford Rd and Gunbarrel Rd near Hamilton Place Mall close to I 75. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10222029330591765&id=1516270977 Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk

John1122
I get off at exit 4 or sometimes 5 (Shallowford/75) whenever I go to my brothers house. Seems to be a lot of businesses in that area vs a lot of housing. But I'm sure there were lots of homes hit as well.

Holston_River_Rambler
WBIR reporting the Little Pigeon River is flooding near Walter's State CC in Sevier county. Apparently one person saying they've "never seen it that bad" and that has to be saying a lot after last Feb and this Feb.
dwagner88
The area of damage that the fire department is looking at is nearly a mile wide. Crazy for such a quick spin up.
Mr Bob
Glad to see you are well, dwag....I saw a pic from Grace Academy...some serious damage. I imagine my old house in Holly Hills got whacked based on what I have seen in the media. Edit: added pic

I watched the intense lightning from my back porch which faces east but we probably only had a gust to 45 and I am about a mile northwest of KCHA which had a gust to 59. A lot of coworkers live in that area but so far no one got hurt which is the best news. Dew point rose from 45 at 8am to 67 by 11pm...I don't think I have seen it do that around here before as a preamble to severe weather. Pretty amazing. 3
