Hoosier
Normally a bit early for a thread, but we aren't in normal times anyway. May not come together, but could end up with a significant snow system early to middle of next week. In any case, weather looks colder than we'd probably like at this time of year. michsnowfreak
Too far out to predict a big storm in my opinion, but several chances of snow seem on the table. This is the part beavis doesnt get why people gripe that Winter is long in the Midwest lol. Even in a mild Winter like this, the snow started before Halloween and 5.5 months later we still have possibly yet to see the last snow.

hawkeye_wx
Monday and Tuesday could be pretty brutal for mid April. It looks like a mid-winter map.

Wow, a bit of a shift east on this one the last couple runs of the GFS. Was showing all rain for awhile. We'll see I guess. Mid April is becoming prime time for a concrete mixer like Baum said. MIstorm97
Probably going to be another rough event for the Michigan shoreline along Lake Michigan. All this rain lately certainly hasn't helped lower lake levels either.

Hoosier
Something to watch is if convection messes up the mass fields/snow output in the cold sector.

Yeah, models show a ton of deep convection down south. That is rarely good for us.

hawkeye_wx
The 12z Euro inched back nw a bit with the snow. For southeast Iowa over to Chicago, the northern wave is a bit too far nw and the southern wave a bit too far se. The waves don't fully phase until it's past us. Here in the middle we get some rain and then end with some light snow.

Unless it's going to be noteworthy (like today's squalls for example) then this is just a nuisance.
