hawkeye_wx
We had a pretty nice morning, rising into the 50s, but an afternoon washout produced 0.45" of rain and dropped us into the upper 40s.

Yeah spring fever is in full bloom after the 80 degree warmth recently. The chilly next several days is gonna be hard to take. Many tree species have started to leaf out some, and most people have mowed at least once. One positive is maybe the cold will knock back the first batch of gnats and mosquitoes, which have been surprisingly prolific and frisky the past week.
cyclone77
Looks like we have a shot at 70 today, with quite a bit of sunshine getting us off to a fast start this morning. HRRR has upper 60s, with dews near 60 later on. Could get a good storm with the passage of the front early this evening, and then cold and very windy tomorrow. MLI made it to 69, and we hit 67. Took advantage of it and got quite a bit done outside. Some decaying Iowa slopping seconds about to move in, along with the cold front. totsata
Few squalls have been dumping on and off throughout the day in Des Plaines. Missed on most of the good ones last Thursday but made up for it today. michsnowfreak
A few flurries here but missed a few isolated snow squalls just to my Northwest this evening. Sure feels like Winter though. Looks like a bit more snow tomorrow and a possible snow storm Friday. One thing about this Winter, the snow season has definitely not been a short one lol
weatherbo
After a high of 29 yesterday and low of 8 overnight, we inch up a degree to 30 for the forecast high today with more popcorn type 5 minute blizzards. By the weekend, hopefully some weather resembling springtime. Took this pic yesterday, vehicle has been sitting there all winter long, hope they're ok
josh_4184
Been pickup up a few inches of LES each night, luckily its been mostly melting off throughout the day. Although its nice to look at while sitting in my home office.
Torchageddon
I had my +sn event around 9 this morning. It was one of the heaviest snowfalls by rate (maybe 1.5 in per hour) I've seen for April. Got around .5 in on the ground. 1/4 mile visiblity during peak. It looked like a winter wonderland out there .

For April 15th...Lincoln NE dropped to 16, coldest temp on record for so late in the season...with records going back to 1887. And parts of northern WI were well into the single digits. Rhinelander was the coldest I found, with a low of 1.
