ORH_wxman
Record low max for ORH today is 39F in 2002. If these clouds/flurries keep hanging around that will be in jeopardy.

powderfreak
Backyard scenes.... almost noon in late April. Mid-20s and perfect fluffy snow growth like its Currier and Ives season. Even the rooftops are bare because the dry powder is getting windswept off it. Fun little weather day.
CoastalWx
That's nuts PF. Although if we had full on snow, I doubt it would be much above 32 here.

We are struggling in April to hit anything more than 62 right now. In Jan we did 70+ back to back. Yes, I know the thermo issues make it questionable, but regardless the point stands. Unreal. powderfreak
Man these squalls pack a punch. The snow growth is so great that these massive flakes are very efficient at reducing visibility... this is about 1/4 mile +SN. Crazy to get this type of snowfall with the radar echoes in clear air mode. Interesting note, the dark soil of the freshly turned farmer field was really struggling to accumulate despite the snowfall. Sun angle is still there behind this stuff. dendrite
MAV is down to 5F at SLK and 14F at CON tomorrow morning. The latest 14F or colder at CON on record is 4/14 in 1973.

I just remember the GFS wanting to radiate like mad in places like BED and it never happened. Maybe it will this time. MET looks more reasonable I suppose. dendrite
I'm contemplating covering the tiger lilies. They're probably already a foot tall near the house right now. I really don't wanna look at frost burnt lily tips all summer. Thank goodness almost everything is slow to bud this spring.

Whineminster
Brutal outside right now. Surprised I'm not under a Wind Advisory. It's windier now than it was at any point yesterday, or that so called "big wind" event last week.
