I’m glad we got snow out of this look. For awhile I was hoping. We actually squandered a couple more close calls including tomorrow,  but the pattern delivered.

Speaking of 1975...the 70s are becoming weather of yore. Warm days, frigid nights, big ranges, long dry stretches, low QPF. I’d take the cold mornings if I could get numerous 60s/70 during the day.

We joke about shitty springs but with the warm and brutal winter, this was inevitable. Add in DIT’s ‘spring is here to stay’ claims back in Feb with a splash of March 12 flaccid rub a tugs and you can lock in the turd in your cereal bowls every morning until Memorial Day. 

Today will be nice though. Enjoy folks.

Yea. 60F with mostly sunny though here is a big win. I think that’s close to normal and it will feel good... even as the winds pick up later.

Next Friday has potential for Savoy to Mitch over to 2k in NNE . I realize I only care lol but there is some wiggle room down to 1K if things trend deeper /colder

Tommorrow costal beyond the bench mark would be another elevation bomb if this was 175 miles NW ( the upper temps are cold)

57/29 right now and I’m walking the dog in shorts.  

It is insane how warm upper 50s feel right now.  

This same exact day in late September probably has me in flannel and a jacket ....and folks thinking about firing up the wood stoves. 

Crazy how the body adapts to the different baselines as the seasons change.

Yup. 58 now. Spent the day shoveling the deck and then Powerwashing it and the front brick walk.

I suppose it beats a wheel-o-rhea pattern that we can get in spring, but this definitely is dumpster diving when we’re trying to squeeze out 60F with sun as our pick of the week.

True, 8 of the last 11 days have had maxes under 48F.  

Mid-week looks obscene cold.  Persistent flurries too.

BTV forecasting 30s for highs when normal is 55F.
