Sugarloaf1989
Precipitation is moving in so slowly that it's still clear skies here and cooling off nicely. Currently 35/25 Radar for this looks kind of meh to the West around here.

I just don't want to grow any of those IMBY. My uncle had some trees cut down and one of them was a huge honey locust. I took all the wood for my wood stove. The grain was beautiful when I split it. Stuff burned so hot I could only really burn it in subzero temps. I later found out people sell slabs of it on etsy's for hundreds of dollars...

NorEastermass128
Ginxy…it looks like those gypsy moths did a number on your trees. Unfortunately, our trees are starting to look the same sickly way. I hope we can avoid the gypsies this year like last.
40/70 Benchmark
It sucks that this pattern wasn't 3-4 weeks faster in materializing....we could have made a mini March 2018 run.

Epic tree loss and what I am seeing I think Ash Borer and ants have attacked the rest. I fear the wind every time its mentioned. I talked to the fire department yesterday after Eversource finally put out the pole on fire after 2 days, they said across the valley from me there is another path of damage. Straight line winds. Folks are going to be surprised at how many more gypsy moth dead trees they have when Leaf out comes.
Damage In Tolland
There won’t be any Gypsies this year. They would have already hatched with the warm spring and leaves out. The fungus got all of them last summer unfortunately
