Most forecasters who are aggressive and pound their chests as to why they are correct, generally are not good.

Davey Epstein told me I was wrong when I said multiple stations in NE would set monthly low maxes for Apruary if modeling was correct. Oops

Norway ,maples are starting to leaf out here. Oak buds very swelled. It was accelerated by March and some of the warm, sunny days we had earlier. Now it's violently slowed.

If this pattern had happened like 6-8 weeks ago, we'd probably see like 40-60" in a 2-3 week period.

On the EPS, H7 is a great track for a big portion of SNE into adjacent CNE. Definitely something to watch. Obviously the caveats are there, but Jeez.

At this point, go for something highly anomalous. It's the only way to make something out of this pattern.

So he says after the Sunday system taps the tail end of the cold (which means as it passes it gets cold one last time 

I don’t see how posting Monday nite temps invalidates anything he said and if anything supports that behind the late weekend system it’s cold ?

i haven’t looked at anything he has posted in 2 months ...so I guess people believe the anomalous cold continues beyond next Tuesday and he believes we jump to mid spring late next week . 

 

So does anyone see logic for a flip to mid spring late next week?

Later Sunday. It even has a high to the NW.  Out ahead of it, we WAA a bit as winds briefly turn SW, but the airmass is still rather chilly.
