I can’t see how someone with an approval rating around 45% can win in a landslide.  I could see him pulling this out of his ass again but a lot will depend on turnout and whether Bernie supporters would cut off their noses to spite their faces and either vote for Trump or not vote at all.  I don’t know if you’re  a Bernie Bro but just stop and think if you want another 4 years of a president that’s an embarrassment to the office.

Guess what Obama’s approval rating was in April 2012...45%

I’d put any any amount of money down that Trump wins this fall.

This from the guy who considers himself a genius and thinks he’s a natural medical doctor. Lol. Imagine proudly supporting him..

That’s right up there with “Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”

I myself don't watch Trump press conferences, so he doesn't really bother me lol

I listened to Biden speak for a about 30 seconds and that was that lol He shouldn't even be permitted to run for president...

The only one that matters to me is Governor Cuomo, he calls the shots in NY not Trump, which makes whatever he says irrelevant...

Im not a trump supporter or hater tbh, I kinda just go with the flow haha

Andrew Cuomo is a good public speaker that actually makes sense and at least seems like he cares ..lol

The Cuomo and Deblasio feud is hilarious.  Deblasio wants to open the city up by May 1 but wants schools closed for the rest of the year. Does that make any sense ?

Cases going back up in China. No real way to stop this until we get a vaccine. But if we keep the cases low, the hospitals shouldn't have too much of an issue with this in summer as flu season winds down. If we don't have a solution by later this year as we head into winter/flu season again we may have a similar situation Mass testing is key.

Did trump really tweet out about firing Dr. Fauci because he said in an interview that we would have been able to save lifes if we acted sooner?

I'd fire him because on Jan 21st and Feb 29th he was on record that the virus wasn't a threat to the US.

You cant go on TV saying we have nothing to worry about on February 29th and then go on CNN in April saying lives would have been saved had they listened to you in February.

What about this? This is 1000 times worse. When are we firing trump?

And knowing Trump those words were probably from Trump himself telling him what to say to keep the country under control. If it didn't become a global pandemic he would likely still be uttering the same words. Just like Fauci is now saying we may be able to open up by May 1st. That isn't Fauci, that's a scared Trump running for reelection talking.

If Fauci is a leading expert on the subject and hes quoted as late as February saying we have nothing to worry about who else was Trump supposed to get his information from? His job is to make decisions based on the facts presented to him. Its the experts jobs to give him accurate information.

If you don't say what Trump wants you to say, you get fired. We have countless examples of this. I mean...

I'd fire any of my employees should they publicly stab me in the back too.

I think Fauci got this one wrong based on crap info coming out of China. I just dont know what more Trump was supposed to do with the info being given to him. Hell he faced backlash over banning flights from China, the whole thing was labeled xenophobic and pro chinese rallys were being thrown in NYC, probably spreading the virus.

I just watched the News conference he said he believes the worst is over if we "stay the course"..He also said over time we could start getting back to "normalcy" but it won't be until we have the medical treatment and Vaccine that it's actually"over"..He also left the door open for some upstate communities to relax the restrictions (ahead of downstate) depending on numbers..

There is a lot he could have said differently. He is anti science, that's a major problem. He's more worried about 30k coal jobs, then 650k postal workers jobs. He states that somehow mail in voting would be the "end" of the Republican party.

There's a whole freaking timeline of Trump's failures:

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/11/us/politics/coronavirus-trump-response.html?action=click&module=Spotlight&pgtype=Homepage

Well spelled out, but Luke is clearly a Trump sycophant who believe he can do no wrong. Just the laughable fact of comparing a misstep of Obama's to one of Trump's many complete idiotic blatherings show there's probably a tinge of racism going on in there too. After all, blame Obama for everything....right? And give me a f*cking break - pro-Chinese rallies spreading the virus? Most of the virus spread happened from people coming back to NYC from Europe. The China ban did absolutely nothing, was too late, and was simply the typical xenophobic response that Trump supporters know and love - and basically the only thing their dim-witted minds can understand.

https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/coronavirus/study-finds-most-cases-of-covid-19-in-nyc-came-from-europe-other-places-in-us/2368010/

At this point you might as well post a picture of the Confederate flag in your garage.

WOW...angry much?

I cant make a clear cut and dry point that Fauci was wrong in calling out trump when hes on video saying there was nothing to worry about in late February without being called a racist?

I completely agree that there is a lot he could say differently, and a politician would do just that. But hes not a career politician.

I've been complaining for years about the USPS so you're not going to get much love from me there. I think it should have been allowed to fail and then privatized. USPS is a prime example of why you dont want a single payer health care system IMO.

Why don't we privatize state troopers, corrections, police officers, fireman,etc...The amount of people I see applying for these jobs is unreal. Thousands upon thousands of people want these jobs and sit for the tests. You know why? Socialism isn't all that bad. They retire in 20-25 years, full benefits for life, 60-100k+ salaries, 70% of salary in the form of a pension for LIFE, flexible schedules, and unions that back them. That's what the people want. But then the people get these jobs are all republican and anti democrats. Hypocrites much? lol

Back in the 60s-90s people that worked at Ford, GM, big airlines, etc... had pensions, great benefits, great retirement. Workers rights are slowly being taken away for corporate profits and executive compensation.

With the exception of the troopers id say all of those positions are underpaid. I give a lot of credit to people willing to put their lives at risk everyday to make a living. So i'm sure that some of them just want the benefits but for most Id say its more about giving back. I personally know that no one is making it through the trooper academy just to collect a paycheck, its literally two months of hell.
