wolfie09
In August, a Military Times poll showed a decline in support for Trump among active-duty service members. Of the 1,018 active-duty troops surveyed in late July and early August, 49.9% had an "unfavorable view of the president, compared to about 38% who had a favorable view," Military Times reported. Out of those officers surveyed, 59.1% had an unfavorable view of Trump; 35.1% had a favorable view of the president, Military Times reported. Former senior leaders have pledged their support for both Biden and Trump. In September, Trump announced that 235 retired senior military officers had signed a letter backing him for reelection. But in October, Biden came out with his own list of 291 former generals, admirals, senior enlisted and national security officials who backed the former vice president. However, Teigen maintains that there is a "Republican tilt to the veteran population that is not entirely explainable by their gender and their race but that is entirely powered by the male veteran population." "Female veterans are politically indistinguishable from female nonveterans, whereas male veterans are slightly more Republican and were more likely to vote for Donald Trump in 2016," he said. While the surge in military absentee voting may affect the election, there is also a chance that many votes may go uncounted because of postal delays and challenges to the system, Inbody said. "The main thing about the military vote that I have seen ... is that it is exceedingly difficult for overseas personnel and their families to, one, get registered to vote and, two, get a marked ballot returned in time to be counted," he explained. "And the more the mail system is unable to support that, the more problems there will be with deployed military and overseas families."
vortmax
The Arizona gap is shrinking as well. Now about 69k with 350k left (was 79k last night). The thought is that the remaining "mail in votes" are actually voting day drop-offs which have been leaning more for Trump. If they are 60/40, that would make up the gap. I think Arizona is still in play and called too early.

vortmax
Wisconsin is about 20k as well, recount warranted with such a close race? I know 2016 WI and MI had very small gaps, but even if those went to Clinton, it still wouldn't have mattered.

CNY_WX
I wouldn’t be surprised to see him run in 2024. His taxes will probably still be under audit, lol. Wonder which Attorney General or DA will be the first to go after him if he loses this year.
BuffaloWeather
The big news for Biden is what's coming in Clayton. The county just dropped 300 votes (feels adorable), and Biden won it *by* 87%. (He's winning the county by 72% overall.) There should be roughly 7000 votes left here.
BuffaloWeather
Wow, Trump is going to lose Georgia by thousands of votes...In the end Biden will likely have well over 300 electoral votes and 5 million+ in popular vote. Democracy wins out.

SouthBuffaloSteve
Antrim County Michigan... Apparently a “software error” caused only Biden ballots to be tabulated at several precincts throughout the county. This was the posted results by the county on Wednesday AM claiming 100% of the vote was in and counted. This was also one of the counties where Republican voters were raising the alarm on SharpieGate. County is doing a hand recount of all votes and could likely add a couple thousand votes for Trump. It stands out like a sore thumb in a small county but what about larger counties where a couple thousand MIA votes wouldn’t be easily noticed.
