Sw NC weather
I passed the 50 inch mark for rainfall so far this year, it seems as if I’m getting rain everyday. Although till today everything had been less then a quarter inch for the past week.
Moonhowl
Even though MBY went through a dry stretch there were still storms in the area. Sans just a few days, there has been at least the threat of rain everyday throughout the entire summer.

wncsnow
We have dodged the bullet so far with the heaviest rain but it stormed almost all night and we still picked up 1.3 already. Southern parts of the county have over 3 inches in places already..
wncsnow
Ended up with 2.8 inches, we may get a bit more later but could have been worse. Almost to my monthly August average.. already at 3.3 for the month and its the 3rd!
SnoJoe
Came back home for a few days. We don't do tropical. Got in late last night and woke thinking I was in Hawaii. I don't remember the last time I've seen things so lush the first of Aug. Rained about all day and had a high of 69. I loved it. The past few of weeks on the coast have been brutal.

Even down here in the lowly Piedmont I am already above my average yearly total rainfall.. My lawnmower had a rough time mowing this evening. The grass(weeds) are thicker than I’ve ever seen here. We have toads everywhere. I also have not seen a single tick on me or my three dogs. Maybe the toads are eating them. Lol
