Keep it cool for as long as possible. It's only early April and we know we'll get blow torched/ above normal at some point till/through Sept....no need to rush it. Albedoman Posted April 8, 2020 Share Posted April 8, 2020 repetitive GFS model runs in the last few days indicate wet snow possible next weekend 18-19th time frame. I know there is a cold bias with the GFS but with a deep cold pool LP sitting near us, I cannot discount a "tulip snowfall event" from happening. Instability and shear ahead of the front are plentiful (plenty of sun now too - up to 63F already with a 59 dew), and precip on the front is more organized now than the models predict. The line broke up around the hills here but can hear a roar to the east of me. The temp is dropping and you can feel to cool air coming in. Temp down to 65 and dropping with some rain.
