Well do you like chocolate? Lol...try Yards Love Chocolate stout

I love chocolate and always am looking for a good recommendation.  My wife is on the keto lifestyle and I'm trying to support her wherever possible so right now it's only the drier beers (Sapporo, Orion) in the fridge.  Thanks for the recommendation on the Yards Love Chocolate...will add it to my list of drinking out when this is all over.

I get it, my gf is doing something similarly. I should probably try to stay away from the heavy beers but I cant help myself

I prefer imperial stouts. Most have hints of dark chocolate, coffee, and sometimes dark fruit, esp the super high gravity ones.

As for breakfast/coffee stouts, there are a few really good ones, and many that miss the mark. Hard to beat Founders Breakfast Stout. Some good local ones too from Evo and RAR. Flying Dog's coffee Porter is pretty good. Its the Kujo, which was originally an Imperial coffee stout, and it was excellent. Sucks they stopped making it.

An Imperial I fell in love with(damn near perfect for my taste) is Ralphius barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout, from Free Will Brewing in PA. Amazing.

Best I ever had was Founders Lizard of Koz....I forget how they labled it but it tasted lke a imperial stout with blueberries to me

Yeah, makes sense for MD to close into the 3rd week of April for right now, rather than the entire year.  At least for now.  I fully expected that the original March 27 date would be extended.  About all you can do is push the date back some...then reassess at that time.  I wonder how many schools will extend classes through the summer to make up the time, assuming we're OK to have kids go back en masse at that time.

So on a different note, today is my birthday!  It's an anniversary of my 29th, but I'm not saying which one (but for a hint...get off my damn lawn! :oldman:)!!  Odd times to be celebrating that, but one makes of it what they can.  I remember getting snow on this day in consecutive years here...2013 (4") and 2014 (3")!!  That was nice.

I hear you can get a room at just about any hotel/casino in the region for rock bottom prices. You should give it a shot for your big day. Of course most of the casinos at these resorts are closed ...

Happy B-Day!!!!

Ha!  Many thanks, my friend!  I'll settle for "Casablanca" for now...

I don’t consider this political because the stimulus bill is bipartisan and this is in no way an attack on one side or the other what I’m about to say pertains to general reaction by EVERYONE...I’m just genuinely confused by the reaction and the plan. Many other nations have totally suspended rent/mortgages/utilities/debt for months. How many people pay less than 1200 for all that over say 3 months?  Imo what we just got is way less than what most governments are doing plus we will have to pay for this someday vs the idea of simply freezing then rebooting the economy when this is over. Yet people seem genuinely grateful if not downright giddy over this. Am I missing something?

So Friday is my shopping day. And I am not going to lie I was a bit worried about going. I am a Cancer Survivor going on 5 years next month, and while I did not have Chemo I did have a lot of radiation. So it does put me in the Immune Compromised camp. I was going to do the set aside hours, but my husband said he did not want me worrying and he will do the shopping. He told me I should have asked him in the first place as he does not want my anxiety to be flared up.

I'm with you man, I'm sure it will help alot of people, but it's really only a start. Guess it's something, but it surely isn't the general public's saving grace.

I am going to keep my comment on the economic side because I do not want to open up the political discussion.. The stimulus is not about helping people, it is about stabilizing markets.  That said, this is a fiduciary measure to inject money in to the economy.  It is simply a measure to get money out of the treasury and in to circulation.  1200 per person is the largest single fiduciary act in the history of the world...   Whenever they do this.. they have to be careful not to inject too much because the result will be inflation.  The government really doesnt "run out" of money.  The reality is that they can simply print more (or add a zero).  The controlling factor is prices.

Well it just got real for me, my job was forced to lay me off, among others. Hopefully just temporarily but obviously unknown with the scope of this thing. Sucks. Let’s hope the unemployment hotline isn’t crashed today.

you get $600 more per week than what you would normally get due to Stimulus!
