rochesterdave
What makes you say it’s almost over? Still tons of moisture over WNY. HRR still bullish

HRR still bullish I'm fairly far east, as modeled it kinda just rots away in place. With that said ripping cottonballs. By far the most epic 3 week April stretch I can remember regardless especially given it all occured mid-late April. Obviously 97 holds the cake but climatologically April 1st and 26th are worlds apart.

Yes, some of us remember...

Ericjcrash
6 hours slower and this would've been epic. I'll take this .5" and solid covering to close out the season (presumably). Congrats to those 30 miles north who got rocked.

rochesterdave
The NAM 3k killed it with this storm. The days of hoping and praying are over. If the models say no snow- u may as well pack it in. The only area they truly struggle with (inside of 48 hours) is the south shore lake effect. Not sure if that’s resolvable.
Syrmax
I'm kind of "glad" this storm wasn't earlier and colder IMBY...we recorded about 0.5" of rain in my area, which would have been 5-6" of snow. Undoubtedly, we would have has WS Warnings issued for the same storm back during Winter....and come up a bit light...
Buffalo Bumble
Sneaking in a nice day here in WNY between the gyre swirling to the east and the next system racing towards us from the west. Sun and low 50’s feels like mid-summer after yesterday’s rawness. Looks like a good chance to get into some rare southerly flow on Wednesday that would send our temps above normal for the first time in about 16 days.

BuffaloWeather
We just had 4 months of a west coast trough and east coast ridge. Now we are going to see 4 months of the opposite. Just in time to set us up next year for another 4 month winter ridge.

cny rider
If you have to go to work and be trapped inside all day....today's the day to do it I guess. It was 33 F with a little drizzle and melting snow when I left for work. It was 36F and raining when I got out of work. Absolutely heinous weather.

DeltaT13
The high peaks of Vermont really are an amazing place. Mt Mansfield is still holding nearly 70 inches of snow heading into the first week of May. I would love to own a home high in those hills someday. 3

Syrmax
I'm kind of rooting for some measurable May snow on the heels of a lousy winter, and with everything else going on...it fits. One of these GFS panels is bound to be right eventually.
