Even the valley had over 20"

wolfie09
Add in a couple globals.. Gfs much more Westerly than previous runs..
wolfie09
It's going to be close.. Just a slight deviation in track could cause winds to turn more Westerly.. High Rez Canadian keeps the band just to our north, to bad the band wasn't a little wider lol
96blizz
Already flipped to decent snow here in Skaneateles. Could see a few inches today.
LongBeachSurfFreak
If that band that was just up north of the Tug Hill was snow someone just saw some of the heaviest rates ever on the east coast. Just insane returns

What a bunch of wussies society has become. Good call Dave from Roc who said this storm was gonna be weak sauce synoptically for WNY. So ready for spring it’s not even funny. 1

DeltaT13
The poor nws in buffalo. The models have been pretty bad this year. I don’t think a single place south of buffalo will verify blizzard conditions today. Ouch.
wolfie09
Some moderate snow falling, temp down to 26.4°, max wind gusts has been around 20 mph..I'll be keeping an eye on that wind direction for sure lol Currently 256° WSW. .

Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk Yeah, I've gotta say that when I saw some of the totals being thrown around yesterday, I was a little surprised. This storm, like every other this year, is on the move, and with the progressive theme intact, I think its tough for the widespread totals to verify. Of course, wrt the LES banding, there will be some winners for sure, but as that band presses south tomorrow, it really never "sets up" for anyone. IMO, I think you can take totals and divide by 2. Boy I hope I'm wrong, but the fetch looks more like an unmanned firehose. All that said, I'm still really jealous and happy for you guys. Take what you can get in this craptastic winter. Good luck.
