Syrmax
Would be nice if this band hangs around for an hour or two here but probably not.
SouthBuffaloSteve
Snow finally coming in! That lawn just might get covered up finally! Hmmm anyone else wonder how bad the mets at BUF probably wanted to bust out a snow squall warning for this band. Just think of it... Setting off everyone’s cell phone at midnight... That would be great... TugHillMatt
Well, I waited and waited to leave for PA...gave up and left at 10. Guess when the band finally started sinking south? TugHillMatt
1 hour ago, WNash said: Don’t both Watertown and Buffalo require a flow from around 245 or 250 to get a solid LES hit? It shouldn’t be as hard to get that in Buffalo as it has been in recent years. The way Low Pressures have been moving, the flow is different off of Lake Erie than Ontario. Often a more Westerly component down there and it curls up to SW flow for L.O.

wolfie09
Flow is out of the NW not WNW so the bands are pretty weak.. Kinda stuff that will hang on all day for an inch or two lol

CNY_WX
It is really coming down right now, probably close to the hardest it’s snowed all winter. Unfortunately the band is not solid and snow will come down at varying rates of intensity.

Revracer800
Picked up 3-4" overnight, stopped most of the morning and now it has been fired up for a while now. At times it snows hard, very gusty winds, temp is 19. Feels a hell of a lot colder than that.
Syrmax
If this keeps up a few more hours I may get to 80" for the season. I'm still holding out hope for 100". Doesnt look like the beginning days of March will help the cause though.... Does Matt have any more trips planned? 1
