Stebo
I think 3-6 is about it for SEMi. Closer to 6 if we get a bit tonight closer to 3 if tonight is more rain than snow.
Snowstorms
Latest HRRR has ~8” in Toronto by 6z Thurs and still snowing. Heaviest amounts centred from Hamilton to Oshawa including Toronto. Feeling more confident with 6-10”.

michsnowfreak
This looks like it will be a healthy deformation band tmrw. Sometimes deformation bands really fluff up, though temps look to be just below freezing. Anyone know what flake size/ratios to expect?

Stebo
I think the going forecast is good from DTX, they are going with 4-7". Tonight's snow will be the deciding factor if we get closer to 4 or 7. 8 minutes ago, michsnowfreak said: This looks like it will be a healthy deformation band tmrw. I think we will average around 10:1 with this, we will need good rates through tomorrow during the day to stick to the roads appreciably.

Chicago Storm
Northern edge of the snow has made it up to here and ORD. Our beloved guidance seems to agree on 1-2" still being possible
DaveNay
Looks like a shutout here in DKB. Radar shows that there should be "something" frozen falling from the sky here, but the ocular detectors say there's nothing. Radar animation seems to be hinting at a pivot and pulling the precip line further away.
