Billypg70
It starts with very very light pin flakes for about 30 mins. Then picks up with intensity from there.

Wild Weather Monger
About to be a wrap here. Going to wind up with about an inch. Considering it was modeled here to be mostly rain and it stayed snow from start to finish I'm impressed. The inner weenie is a bit ticked that the timing wasn't a few hours earlier, but this was a good bust here.
vman722
3.5” and counting. What a beautiful day. Can’t stop won’t stop, rates just picked up once again. Incredibly consistent.

Wild Weather Monger
Thankfully, this didn't work out so well here: Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Peachtree City GA 353 AM EST Sat Feb 8 2020 GAZ027-036-037-041>044-046>048-052>057-066>068-082100- Madison-Clarke-Oconee-Haralson-Carroll-Douglas-South Fulton- Rockdale-Walton-Newton-Heard-Coweta-Fayette-Clayton-Spalding- Henry-Troup-Meriwether-Pike- 353 AM EST Sat Feb 8 2020 Rain mixed with snow will be possible during the early morning hours. Temperatures at that time will range mostly in the upper 20s to lower 30s. It is possible that a brief period of freezing rain accompanies the precipitation which would create some traffic concerns. No accumulation is expected as temperatures should gradually rise into the 40s by early afternoon bringing a transition to all rain.

Grayman
@Snow haven I live in Rockingham also so I can understand the screw zone. We live it dude. How many times you see it snowing in Ellerbe not in Rockingham? Congrats to all those getting snow
Lookout
Just got back from a long and nice walk. Probably about an inch now but it's been pouring and still is. Temp 33.What hurt was it got to 36 before it started so a fair bit was wasted. Still, best day time snow i've had here in years...especially just from a scenery standpoint...with little to no wind and big flakes. Certainly feel like it's over performed here considering every model showed all rain here verbatim and certainly no accumulation. What a fail for the hrrr though. Totally worthless precip type/temp wise. It had it getting as warm as 44 here. 3
