NorthHillsWx
I swear, we do better in the south with these weak systems more consistently than big "blockbuster" storms. No mid-level warming and just enough moisture to make us happy, by our meager standards. The jealousy level to yall's north and east is unprecedented atm... Congrats!

I think it was 2011 where it was extremely cold almost all winter. We had a small little disturbance that brought us an inch or 2, and stayed on the ground for a couple days. Light snow, but just so cold that it stuck so quick
burrel2
It's absolutely ripping here, I can't see the hillside 1/8 mile away from my yard! Some of the hardest snow i've ever seen. 1/2 inch on the ground, roads getting covered. 3

ST21
I'm really shocked they didn't change my county to a warning. I might end up with 3-4 inches

NorthHillsWx
It's amazing what decent mid levels can do for a storm. Something we usually overlook with our big systems where we are walking a fine line up the atmosphere
