dendrite
Pretty sure he said Jan was drier? I could go for a drought right now. We've only had about 4.5" of rain since 1/1, but OND were really wet.

If this was April he would be calling it a drought and saying we need the rain. Having spent some time in the woods the past couple of weeks the ground is dry, not muddy. Damage In Tolland
Coming from someone who downplays every dry period drought in summer. Suddenly because winter ended in Dec, he starts discussing dryness in winter with nothing growing , no evaporation and water tables high. Noted and quoted
TauntonBlizzard2013
The numbers are the numbers but my yard and the water table around me say different. Today was literally the first day stuff really dried out... been swampy pretty consistently before that. Sump has also been running pretty regularly

Facts are since the first of the year it's been dry and below normal. Just facts, rivers are low, no snow melt. No one says drought because that's a fraud 5 you make up. Like saying its pouring .02 today.

We've had many great March snowstorms. I remember driving back from Florida in 1990. We hit a snow storm in Washington DC and followed it all the way back to CT! It was great therapy after realizing how much I hate the state of Florida!!
