If this was April he would be calling it a drought and saying we need the rain.  Having spent some time in the woods the past couple of weeks the ground is dry, not muddy.

Yep as Modfan noted there already have been some brush fires south of the Pike. I know he is in a car all week and its hard to evaluate, so we excuse the ignorance

The funniest part is it’s pouring in his BY tonight :loon:

Just in time, dry periods in Spring lead to brush fires like those already happening this week. Facts are since the first of the year it's been dry and below normal.  Just facts, rivers are low, no snow melt. No one says drought because that's a fraud 5 you make up. Like saying its pouring  .02 today.

Next weekend snowstorm ?

But do I think it could snow again, of course! We've had many great March snowstorms. I remember driving back from Florida in 1990. We hit a snow storm in Washington DC and followed it all the way back to CT!  It was great therapy after realizing how much I hate the state of Florida!!

it would help prove your point “dry since the first of the year” if you would post a map the full time period. can you post the map from 1/1 to now?
