NorEastermass128
This season may not have the same players and formation as some of our rattiest of ratters (01-02, 11-12), but it’s finding a way to rat regardless. 19-20 may just go down as another recipe for producing a rat. Lot of confusion which i knew would happen on this having multiple waves over a couple days, Looks like Snow, Ice, Rain then back to snow here on the Euro, It has been looking that way of varying degrees just in the last 24 hrs that i started following this. CoastalWx
Boundary is oozing south as the final wave develops with the strongest H5 energy. If that thing could drop another 50 miles you'd have north of the pike getting interesting wx.

They aren’t though. Folks are just latching on to the scenarios they want and then get disappointed. Like I’m not going to say they are terrible because two runs of the GFS gave me 2 feet at day 5. You have to throw out the outliers. When was the last time the NYC suburbs saw a significant icestorm? You’d have to see 3 days of runs like that to even entertain that idea. 1

Torch Tiger
If the models added snow inside of D3-D4 instead of taking away, there would be no whining of bad model performance. Funny how that is
