Rain to Greenville, ice to Clayton Lake. Not likely, though GYX is kind of bearish - sub-advisory SN (1-3) Thursday then mostly RA Friday south of the mts. That would leave my snowpack about where it is now - was hoping for a little gain.
Ogmios
Spring will be Spring and Lawn and Gardening is a feature that needs this rain. Too bad it is February and not April when we should be talking about the hits and misses of winter, and instead it is always a miss. So what little snow I still have will be gone after this one.

CoastalWx
That’s a nice s/w tightening up. Actually almost two of them, for Friday. I kind of like seeing that. It’s not doing it further west on the nam, which is good.

CoastalWx
Subtle s/w distinctions like shape and phasing mean a ton. But I wonder if that cold press formed by weak meso lows are getting into guidance and “adjusting” some low placements further south. Still can change, however. Seems to be heading that way, This Nam run never got above 32°F at the surface on both waves, I did not look at the mid levels as were still out on the Nam to get that cute.
