We might have a chance at a dusting or “heavy coating”, as @Itstrainingtime prefers to call it, on Friday from a weak Clipper.

Also, the long range 18Z GFS presented some opportunities for a few snow chances between March 6th & 10th.

Who know, maybe we will get lucky & score at least once in March? Heck, at this point, I will take my potential heavy coating on Friday & like it.

Friday is going to feel darn cold.  May break the 35 and over string we are in.  May be the last chance to break until until next fall!  Just noticed MDT hit 61 yesterday. Does not show on their hourly history graph so must have been some kind of temp surge between 4 and 5 PM.

Late this week the Tug Hill will be slammed! Hopefully paweather booked the house that I emailed him.

And that's kind of indication of how piss poor the winter has been, correct? In a normal winter the lake effect machine would have shut off long ago due to the lakes being frozen...not this winter.

Not Ontario, very rare it freezes over.  That’s why the Tug Hill gets so much snow!  Erie freezes up quick.  It’s very shallow.

I think one of the best indication of how piss poor this winter as been is that my wife has a vase of daffodils that grew to the point of being fully flowered in February.  Only those occasional freezes have saved us from getting the mowers out already.

None of my herbs in small pots outside died this winter, first time since moving here in 2006.

Lol everyone’s panicked about coronavirus meanwhile flu type B about wiped my arse out last few weeks.

Yea, I believe the flu has killed more people this year than Corona.  With that said Corona has the potential to cause much, much worse economic harm.  The stock market drops the last two days are trivial right now but if air travel eventually has to be limited things will go to hell.  I am seeing sellers on Ebay offering, and getting, 5 boxes of masks they got at dollar tree for $50.

Love your updates Blizzard...I’m surprisingly still pro snow.

Thanks ! I’m still tracking snow for another month until the bitter end.

In the longer term, the 18z GEFS had one one of its better runs in recent days. Just about all of the snow for the Susquehanna Valley falls in week 2.

Maybe we will get a few events to track in March? At this point, I would settle for 1 good CTP wide Winter storm Warning all snow event.
