DeltaT13
Alright, the GFS is starting to hone in on something with the last 4 runs. 7 days though, why do we even do this......

CNY-LES FREAK
The band is definitely further to the South than where it should be, so we'll have to wait till it at least becomes steady state, if it ever does, cause its tough with a NW flow to realize the flow so we'll see what happens I guess so good luck to all, lol, cause I already got an easy 4-5" but if this band settles to the South then that number won't change much. NW flow events have got to be the toughest events to forecast especially with sw that swing through every so often that changes the flow so....... I'm easily over 6" as of midnight and still S+ and 23F. Theres going to be a lot of varying totals cause just to my SW there isn't much at all so....Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

Syrmax
We're about to get crushed again. This should be fun. Update, really getting it now. Heaviest rate of the night. Vis well under 0.25 miles. Probably half that.

Syrmax
There's no way we stay under a foot if this keeps up. I was at around 6" a couple hours ago. Those nice yellow and orange cells are aligned right towards us also... Where's Matt?? LoooooL

CNY-LES FREAK
I've easily eclipsed the 1' mark about 2 hrs ago, and it's still just absolutely pouring snow, fat dendrites actually perfect size dendrites for fast, efficient accumulating snow and that's what's happening. Without a doubt some of the heaviest rates of the season, for sure, but can also compare this event to many many others and it's still ongoing.......Gonna hit 18" here, easily Im thinking so we'll see. Definitely by far the best event of the year season, easily!Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
CNY-LES FREAK
It looks like the band is gonna redevelop or reposition itself along the South Shore and head straight East from there so we'll see where that takes us! NWS was very smart to give that map today a nudge North with accumulations so Kudos to them! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
CNY-LES FREAK
It was blowing right at me cause my back door to my deck heads NW so yeah, the S+ was coming straight at me, lol!Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
Revracer800
Picked up about 6" of white gold, pretty heavy snow not the usual fluffy lake effect.

Syrmax
Welp, ended up just shy of 8"...7-3/4" to be precise. LE was 0.38" so ratio was 19.7:1 for those keeping score.
CNY_WX
I ended up with about 5.5 inches overnight. It’s still snowing lightly but I doubt it will amount to much.

wolfie09
Inland systems create more of a Westerly flow on the backside, which I like lol These systems that go off the coast no good for me haha
vortmax
I don't remember a year with so many potential strong inland tracks through NY. Pretty amazing and hopefully one them will really crush WNY.

rochesterdave
However, looks like our pattern change has once again become tentative- at least the beginning. From now until March 8, looks like more of the same. Headed upto the Adirondacks for March 6-10, looks to coincide with a BIG thaw with a huge cutter going west of Chicago!?!? Just a few days ago it looked cold. Things can change....
wolfie09
We have had a ton of systems cut this year but the majority have also transfered off the NE coast.. Which is probably why I haven't had one enhancement event this year lol Last year my 2 biggest LES events were behind cutters/apps runners, so yeah lol
