Seriously , wth happened. Went to bed, snowing good and radar looked awesome. Woke up to maybe an inch and radar looks like garbage. Biggest bust of the year if you ask me. Winter 2019-2020 absolutely blows. 1
TugHillMatt
Lol...just see this winter for the reality of what it is. I am just about through the grieving process, and close to acceptance. Perhaps we can still get a huge surprise in the right direction. That is when weather is really fun.

The totals NWS are touting are just jibberish if ya ask me, as I sit here with a temp of 38F at almost 1AM! Spring can't get here soon enough! DeltaT13
This is a strong contender for bust of the year so far. Amazing
Syrmax
Amazingly, I had 1.0" snowfall and almost 0.25 melted. White rain? It looks purty outside with snow plastered on trees and such. At least my expectations were for 3-5", not a foot! And we have 10+" of snowcover. It could be worse. So shortly it will get much colder and windy. So we have that going for us. cny rider
Dog had to go pee @0300. Took her out, had 2-3 inches of wet snow on the ground, was lightly drizzling and I figured we were in a dry slot with more snow to come. Woke up this morning, saw my footprints unchanged from 0300. No new snow. Total bust.
PaulyFromPlattsburgh
Just chiming in real quick. This was the reason why I wasn’t excited for this one from the get go. It looked very disorganized, very weak(strung out), and lacked any type of moisture. I was forecasted 3-5 inches and seen less than a trace of snow. BUST. Glad I didn’t get excited for this one
CNY_WX
Like Syrmax I had about an inch of snow and 0.23 liquid. I knew things were going south when the temperature jumped into the upper 30s last evening. It slowly fell back into the mid 30s when the precipitation started as rain. Close to the first hour of precipitation was in the form of rain or RASN which might have cost me close to an inch of snow accumulation. Even when it flipped to all snow the temperature was 33 and accumulation was not very efficient.
wolfie09
Not much of a bust here , was only forecast 1"-3" overnight lol I obviously wasn't expecting anything today..GL Kroc
wolfie09
With this system you get 2 "bust" for the price of one..lol We will be lucky to see flurries with the CF..
BuffaloWeather
Picked up 2.2" of 1:8 type stuff overnight. The storm definitely went 50 miles SE last minute. It caked to the trees and looks beautiful out. Nice band about to move through

A Progressive Positively tilted trough will never produce much, unless it's a slow moving CF with overrunning out ahead, otherwise this is what you get! On to the next debacle, next weeks rainstorm is trending--->Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

Also the ratios were just terrible Most places got .2-.4" of QPF which would usually lead to a 3-6" event.

LakeEffectKing
Three and a half inches of slop in Cazenovia. Air seems super moist so I'm wondering if we'll get a surprise with the frontal passage later.

rochesterdave
It’s actually snowing pretty good in Rochester now. Less than an inch last night. Just pathetic. I wondered why BUF was so excited about it.... Nothing to look forward to after tonight. The next 2 weeks looks pretty sorry. I expect at least one surprise. Pattern is fairly active.
