TugHillMatt
Snowing pretty heavily here the past half hour. Something must be wrong with radar, as it has not been showing anything all day.

wolfie09
Gfs is loving these cutters/inland system followed by WSW/SW LES as we get transient shots of cold behind each system..Would do no good for most of us lol

TugHillMatt
I wonder, if for the first time in days, we can get the overnight low to drop below what the normal high should be for this time of year.

Ggem had it's own fantasy run We have seen this movie before..

TugHillMatt
The models have had a malfunction and put the decimal points over too far in the snow totals. Move those suckers one space to the left, and that is closer to reality. 1.38 inches for the Cuse, baby! 1
wolfie09
I've done it!!! Below freezing, 1st time in 3days lmao It's been a constant 33°-34° Even the couple inches I picked up last night came with temps just above freezing.
BuffaloWeather
Yeah that GFS run would save the winter here. 3-4' of LES followed by synoptic storm and another LES event. Tossing it though. Fool me once, fool me twice, fool me 69 times this year in the long range. TOSS! 2

CNY_WX
Iguanas are an invasive species in Florida. People who bought iguanas as pets then decided they didn’t want them have released them in the wild and they have proliferated. It’s similar to the boa constrictors that are overrunning the Everglades as an invasive species.

The iguanas have become a huge problem down there as the poster above mentioned. A solid cold snap will actually kill a good amount but apparently it’s been several years and they’ve really built up large populations. Temps in the 40s send them into hibernation, but after as little as eight hours at those temps they actually start to die. The pythons however can usually ride out cold snaps in burrows.
cleetussnow
Confirm huge iguanas in Miami. scart me half to death when I reached for a drink in my beach chair at the pool at the fountainblue and a 5 footer was quietly eating lettuce next to my chair. I know they are vegan and everything but still....yichhh. This was right after the kill on sight order the state issued!

wolfie09
Looking at the 6z gfs, we miss about 5 storms to the SE, I guess that's better than seeing cutter after cutter lol Some weak northern stream disturbances and intermittent LES save give us at least something over the next 2 weeks, verbatim..Gfs is almost to active to get any sustained lake effect going..
