40/70 Benchmark
Another huge problem that I see on the GFS is that the N stream is now waiting until about 21z on Saturday to begin dropping into whatever s stream energy we have on the east coast. It was dropping in at 00z on Saturday 24 hours ago....I think this, coupled with the turd lead SW near SNE is the death knell for this quicker phase right now. We have been without the energy near Baja for a few days now, so that can be overcome.

Torch Tiger
most euro/gfs ensemble members are a scrape or OTS which is a pretty big shift from the past two days when both had varying degrees of decent hits and a few that even hugged. worth watching, definitely but I'd feel better if that type of move were this past weekend.

ORH_wxman
N stream is so different on euro vs GFS. That’s going to be the key to getting a hit. The bigger N stream influence.

Probability is pretty low right now so it's a realistic statement to make. Once the energy starts to come onshore tomorrow we'll have better sampling and a better idea. Don't throw in the towel just yet.

RUNNAWAYICEBERG
Thanks man. Huge difference. Euro looks like it could drop the N stream hammer there...but the lead vort in a prog flow could muck it up. I dunno...
