No you probably don’t want a total complete phase...at least before it reaches our longitude. I think it’s unlikely given the fairly fast flow and lack of downstream blocking but if everything lines up perfect it is plausible. Most of those are probably partial phases of caring degrees which is going to be a good thing for a lot of the forum.
It's Always Sunny
Don't want to put too much stock in anything this far out but GEFS has gotten considerably better with the location and amplitude of that mid-level trough over the Upper Midwest. Granted 12Z GFS was garbage but this is a great transition amongst mean spread plots.

It was a partial on that run, And a partial one would serve most here quite well actually, An early complete phase would be death to the coast and probably some on the coastal plain. CoastalWx
Yeah you can see the ridging out west is sort of flat topped, so there’s probably a limit to phasing.
moneypitmike
Can you remind me of how Worcester does with BM storms? I know in GC we'd want them closer to MVY to do really well. Asking for a friend.

Baroclinic Zone
Gimme till Wednesday folks. My juju has been historically notorious. When I feel it, lock it up. Still time for this to be a turd circling the toilet. Here’s what I see. We don’t want too much phasing early on, giving a Cleveland steamer. We want that southern stream to get out ahead, just enough, to show that northern stream some SECS potential. That northern stream gon get aroused and wanna phase with that southern stream. They time that right, we got something beautiful. NSFW. 2
