87storms
4 minutes ago, Ji said: We under perform on the snow and overpeform on the rain Our snow to rain ratio is generally minor league material, but we’re definitely in a prolonged mild/precip pattern...nearing 2 years of it. Need an atmospheric shuffle. Maybe that’s upcoming for February. Rain in Bethesda, trees/cars glazed. Might actually look kinda cool once this band of precip leaves. Chris78
Not much falling from the sky right now but back roads are sleet/ice covered. Real slick out there. We had a decent amount of sleet prior to the zr so it really cemented the sleet.

Herb@MAWS
Almost dusk, first time I’ve noticed ice-lined trees today. But not big-time ice. Tiny icicles melting from deck rail. Looks like temps finally starting to rise. Now 30.8, up about 1 degree in past hour.
poolz1
Holding steady at 31.3. Pretty windy at times...had a few nice gusts accompanied by a burst of sleet/frz rain. Maybe the wind has helped keep temps just below freezing.
SnowBeach
No icing on trees that i can see, but deck is still coated with ice and picnic table has a nice coating here in Stanardsville. I will take whatever I can get after over 2 years since last measurable snowfall in SEVA/ORF

Steve25
Decent icing on all cold surfaces just north of Baltimore City. Now I look forward to a couple sub-freezing days next week. I actually haven't looked beyond Wednesday in a few days on the models. It was starting to look bleak so I took a vacation from the models.
