OrdIowPitMsp
5” here. Transitioned back to light snow at some point overnight. Warmest it got was 25F so there is probably a glaze outside as well. We might make a run for 6” but that’ll be all. Definitely a disappointment considering what models were showing up until nowcast time.

Just as the November storm, this ones exceeding my expectations and packing quite a punch. We are approaching 6" and it's now absolutely puking snow probably around 2" an hour rates Hopefully this is a good sign for me up here in Toronto. They're calling for 6" here.

Thermal profiles must be riding the 0 c isotherm. EDIT: Just big flakes coming down at 8:30. It appears the warm nose of air already has shifted to the East. Shortly after it was absolutely puking snow, it turned to sleet and freezing rain after 6.1" of snow was down. weatherbo
Awesome shots! ^ Looks like 3" here so far with most 12z hi-res models indicating another foot by noonish tomorrow. Even an area between Ironwood and the Porkies that could see 2' possibly. Depth should exceed 40" by tomorrow. Congrats to everyone who got snow!

There has been compaction but we haven’t had bare ground since November 26th. (Sorry Beavis) I live very close to the airport so I typically go off what they report, besides the occasional eyeball estimate. At 6am the total was 4.9” and we've added a little under an inch since, so storm total will probably be 5.5-6.0”
