David-LI
Hi everyone, I am learning astrophotograpy and want to spend a weekend taking shots somewhere with really dark skies, perhaps somewhere in PA. In that case it would be even better to take these type of photos when humidity is low. Does anyone know what model I should look into that can give me a good forecast of humidity/cloud cover? Thank you.
griteater
Give these a try for forecasted cloud cover (American NAM and Canadian RGEM - 2 high resolution / short range models). The date/time of the model run is in the dropdown on the upper right side (defaulted to the most recent model run). If you have questions about it, just ask https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/?model=nam3km®ion=neus&pkg=cfractot&runtime=2020011200&fh=1 https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/?model=rgem®ion=neus&pkg=cfractot&runtime=2020011200&fh=
