That is honestly my favorite radar to follow during an event. It's extremely good at pinpointing the changeover line(s).

Wasn't too good up in my neck of the woods as I started as snow and stayed as snow and yet it was showing rain past Gettysburg this whole time until just a few minutes ago. Pretty large margin of error.

I actually noticed that as soon as I typed that response. Weird that is was off up. It's doing a great job south of I-70 at least. It's shaking off the rust . Enjoy the snow!

Yea, could be proximity to the beam changes accuracy? Anyways, 100% snow and seeing some decent dendrites. Winds just turned out of the north. The mix line seems to be following the wind shift line. Makes sense.

not at all accurate up here. it has never rained

Haven't seen any rain in Columbia either since I got home almost 1 hour ago.

Steady light snow now.  Deck getting a little slushy, but everything else still wet.

Yeah, I just mentioned that to Mappy. It's doing decent job south of I-70. Not sure what was happening north of there. Oh well. Radar or not, it's snowing up in your hood. Enjoy!

And next time you're at the Casino, $20 on black for me. I'll Venmo :D

Yeah. Something weird. Looked like it was doing a solid job for most areas. I still enjoy using that radar a lot. Have had it bookmarked for years. Enjoy the snow Bob. I'm living vicariously.

Just finished the run up I-270.  Started as rain/snow mix in Bethesda, but changed to all snow north of Rockville as far as I could tell.  Intensity varied a lot, heaviest snow at the time was between Germantown and Clarksburg.  Probably the highest accumulation so far was around Hyattstown/MD 109/MD 75, but still just a half and inch or so by my eyes.  Temps dropped quickly heading northwest.  Traffic was very heavy but no issues with the roads of course.
