The Iceman
It's not just the HRRR. It's basically every model except the NAM and a few meso's that have BL issues the majority of the storm for 95 now.

Ralph Wiggum
Hrrr, for all the slack it got earlier here and in other subs, is verifying rather well with the r/s line comparing to current nexrad loops and reports around Lancaster, Morgantown, etc. Oh well, maybe the GFS op is onto something with the window Jan 17-20. Precip approaching. EDIT - although latest 3K NAM drys everything up over me LOL

Moisture is. 850 forcing is well S and E into DE and is headed to S NJ and East while drying out the back edge. Eta: we will get some rippage for an hour or so anyway. Was hoping for the Rare overperformer but I'm not sure this is the one. Nowcast time I guess.

Ralph Wiggum
Maybe this could overperform after all? If the quick drying back edge on some guidance is wrong maybe we can.
Blizzard-on-GFS
Ok maybe my snow-starved eyes are deceiving me but the moisture shield looks way further north and west then projected on the models. I'm not understanding how it isn't going to swing through the area with at least a coating to an inch.... Just a really weird storm, the low takes the benchmark track, juicy moisture shield, yet we are mostly projected to get nothing. Guess we will see soon enough. Hurricane Agnes
Have been getting very light rain/drizzle the past half hour or so here in NW Philly. High IMBY was 44 today and it's currently down to 42 with the dews now moved from the mid-20s to the upper-20s. You can kindof see where a rain/snow line is... bluehens
37/33 here in far northern DE. White rain falling but only 0.02” so far. Rain has frozen core so I don’t think snow is far off. Looks like rain/snow line crashing East fairly quickly now.
