40/70 Benchmark
Seems to have slowed significantly on the UK. One thing I really do not like about this system is how it opens up at H5 on approach...its attenuating due to the transient PNA ridge being eviscerated. It looks like the lead up to a NE blizzard on Saturday...but poof. 1-2" pike points N on UK. I think that is reasonable.
The 4 Seasons
Euro better again at 00Z for SNE. Snows to coast. The surface low hangs back a little longer
Thunderblizzard
Nice run for most of SNE... a bit stronger/slower and a little south compared to 18z.
The 4 Seasons
looks like pivotal just added a bunch of new parameters to the ECMWF for free. All that was there before was surface maps and snow maps. Now you can see lots of mid level data

40/70 Benchmark
Regardless of model output, I think this run was better for SNE looking at mid levels, albeit a bit weaker. 12z Euro left, 00z Right at H7 Valid Sunday 7am.

MJO812
Eps is really nice for SNE. Similiar to the Operational , maybe a touch north.

weathafella
Modest event Sunday at best would be my take. Like 2-4/3-6 in the max zones not prone to other factors like upslope for days and days.

GFS continues to tick better.
Damage In Tolland
This has 4-8” in max zones written all over it. Seems like one of those coastal front deals helping out as well as in and up .

USCAPEWEATHERAF
I would say another 12-18 hours before we know the strength of the northern branch system now moving into Alberta Province, Canada. Water Vapor imagery shows this system very well, and the southern stream upper low is moving eastward.
USCAPEWEATHERAF
Our northern stream system looks very healthy this morning.

Interesting is right. It seems to me if any model has been holding on to the same idea is the GFS. Not saying it's right, but the Euro had like a foot of snow for us 12 hours ago, down to nothing. GFS had 4-5" and still does. I know everyone like to think the model that's right is the one that gives them snow - including myself, but objectively it seems like the Euro has been screwing up just as much as any other model lately

But people like dendrite and even down to ASH and adjacent NE MA saw plowable snowfall on the latest run.
