Feels like it’s been years since we’ve had flakes. Nice surprise here to end out January. Update: some of the biggest flakes I’ve seen in my life and that’s no joke. Crazy.

Really coming down. P.P.S. Sticking to the mulched areas now. I guess we weren’t shut out technically.
kvegas-wx
Wrapping up quick now. I'm officially on the board at the farm in Stuart with a trace but cant say I measured anything more than a visual trace here in Kernersville. Who knows....maybe Fab Feb has something up its sleeve. Billypg70
It snowed this morning here in Taylors SC which is NE Greenville County for an hour to an hour and a half this morning. I was running late so only took one pic of my windshield. There was a dusting in most grassy areas. Nothing on the road. I tried to post the pic but i am getting a message file is too big. magpiemaniac
I’m happy to see a light dusting in the mulch at least. Today was sort of like scoring a late fourth-quarter field against the third-string defense of a team that’s drilling you 63 to 3. We’ve been defeated by this winter, but at least we’re on the board with something. Here’s to hoping that we can score a late touchdown within the next month. FallsLake
Ended up getting about an hour and a half of sleet and rain (just rain now). There was a period where it tried to switch to snow. Lots of slush snow flakes. So I'm just glade to see some wintery precip. this winter.
Iceagewhereartthou
Officially .6 at AVL, .1 at GSP, T at CLT. You almost forget how pretty a dusting can be. Also shows just how snow starved most of us are to be so excited over so little.
MarvelMountain
Amazing what one inch of snow can do... This was at 5 p.m. with a 33 degree temperature. Check out this short video...
