Apparently lol. Actually I was going by my neighbor's weather station and he always seem to run 2 degrees too high.
psuhoffman
I had to run to the recycle center in Westminster and it was 40 and significantly less snow otg. High here was only 33. The micro climate on this ridge amazes me every time I leave the immediate area. Turned into a beautiful day though.

WVclimo
Based on the forecast for the weekend, a couple of temperature records may be challenged in this area. Martinsburg's 76-degree high on 1/11/1975 certainly looks safe, but the record high for 1/12, which was only 65 in 1928, may be in jeopardy. Record high minimums are 47 for 1/11 (1975) and 40 for 1/12 (2013.) One or both of these might be within reach also.
wxdude64
Nothing 'winter-like' this am with mid 50's and drizzle. Temps were in 30's/40's all day yesterday, then started climbing after nightfall to the current 54.7.....

wxdude64
I'm gonna go WAY out on a limb here and say I'll be setting one, maybe two records when I report tomorrow at 7 am. My point and click from NWS Blacksburg is high 63, low 51. I started the day at 54.7, the record warm minimum for day is 40 from 1995. Record high is 61.3 from 2013, that MAY fall, the other is a definite lol. My records go back to October 1979.
